"Go Walk for Matt" Saturday,
May 15 Join
Matt's friends and fellow walkers from Washington Mutual as they
walk from East Sacramento through downtown, the capitol, to West
Sacramento and down to Richards as they end up at Discovery Park
for a picnic. If you don't want to join the walk, they still are looking for volunteers with big trucks or vans to shuttle back walkers to cars and lunch preparations at Discover Park. If you're interested in walking, sponsoring a walker or want to volunteer for this event, please contact Erica Fuerst at (916) 780-6215.

BALD FOR BERA
On Saturday, April 17th, hundreds of fellow firefighters joined together to show their support for Matt Bera and his fight of cancer by shaving their heads. It was a unique way to raise funds to help Matt and his family help cover his medical and travel expenses. The outpouring of love and support from his co-workers, family, friends and even strangers continues to give Matt and his family the support they need during this difficult time.
